The
Briar Patch Bookstore in Bangor, ME kindly invited me to
do a signing. This young man asked me to draw R2D2 for him
... err, I tried my best ... it turned out to be R2's cousin.

May
has turned out to be a very busy month! Cape Elizabeth,
ME held their first Children's Author festival ... I had
the best time (as you can see!).

At
the New England SCBWI Conference, Springfield, MA, presenting
two workshops on Drawing from Memory and Social Networking.
Here I am in the bookstore with some of my books! It's a
thrill to find them there.

It's
a lonely trek to Fort Kent, at the top of Maine, but I had
a fun day as part of the presentation team for their Author
Day.

In

for a fun afternoon with local children drawing pics from
'1,2,3 by the Sea'.

After
Bologna a quick hop to Paris and as part of the faculty
at Europolitan 2013 SCBWI conference I gave a presentation
on creating graphic novels.
